Med-Eq connects you with the appropriate recipient organization so your donation goes to an organization that specifically needs your item(s):
- New supplies and equipment (in-date, never opened, never used)
- Recovered Supplies (open-but-unused / out of date) from a medical facility, laboratory, manufacturer or supplier
- Used medical equipment and machinery (in working order w/all cables, tubes, etc. and user manuals)
Med-Eq could not exist without your material support. What is surplus to you is a much needed treasure in another location. Donating through Med-Eq.org connects excess with need, reduces waste and ultimately helps those with less. Your donation of medical supplies and / or equipment does much more than reduce your burden of excess.
After you have joined Med-Eq you will then be able to login and post donations to this website. Your posts will be reviewed and approved by Med-Eq staff, then become visible to the public and member receving charities in the "Available Items" menu. You will be contacted by an interested receiving charity that will ship of pickup your donation and can provide you with a tax deduction receipt as well as information about what end your donation may serve.
Special note to donors: If you have a multi-item donation, it is acceptable to combine everything into one listing. This will save you a lot of work - for example, if you have 6 items to donate, we will find one recipient, rather than having multiple organizations calling to arrange shipment or pickup logistics.
